Distribution of the new City automated trash containers begins Monday 5/13/19. Residents will see the carts being distributed throughout the week. The company the City purchased the carts from will be delivering the carts to each address that has City pickup.
Residents are asked not to use the new containers until the week of 5/20/19. Once automation begins that week, any trash in cans or bags not in the new cart will not be picked up curbside. Once the cans are emptied next week, our Sanitation Department will set the cans down where they would like residents to continue to place them. All trash must be in the new container with the lid sealed.
