Lakeshore Recycling Systems to Deliver Recycling Carts in the City of Kewanee This Week Ahead of New Curbside Sanitation Services
Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) will be delivering recycling carts to residents across the City of Kewanee this week. This delivery marks the final step in preparation for the commencement of curbside sanitation services, set to begin next week.
Each recycling cart will include important information secured inside the lid, detailing your designated collection day and the list of acceptable recyclable materials. Please review this information carefully to ensure proper recycling practices.
Important Reminder: Residents are reminded that all recyclables should be placed loosely in the cart and not bagged. Bagged recyclables cannot be processed properly and may lead to contamination of the recycling stream.
