School Resource Officer

School Resource Officers (SROs) serve as a vital link between the police department and the school community. Their primary functions include ensuring a safe learning environment, building positive relationships with students and staff, and serving as a resource for safety education, mentoring, and crisis response. SROs also assist with investigations involving students, provide guidance on legal issues, and help implement school safety plans and emergency procedures.
