When I was appointed Fire Chief for the City of the Kewanee, I eagerly accepted the task of leading one of this area’s most aggressive fire rescue departments. I strongly believe that the fire service plays an important role in the well being of our citizens. To be effective in this role, the Kewanee Fire Department must continue to evolve as an organization— keeping up with firefighting trends, using the best technology, and finding more efficient and effective ways to provide service.

The Kewanee Fire Department has a continued commitment to deliver emergency services at a high level. I have emphasized the importance of both internal and external customer service, along with a focus on training and safety for our firefighters. My staff and I will continue to develop new ways to meet the demands of the community, while keeping the Kewanee Fire Department on the cutting edge of fire service.
